The ImpossibleChild is about offering affordable art and passing on good feelings.
I crave color like some people crave chocolate! Lots of color and the kinds of color that make you think someone set off a cherry bomb inside of a pinata. I crave anything with that amazing burst of uniqueness and authenticity.

I used to work with foster kids. Every referral that came into the agency was a potential treasure to explore and revel in. I liked lifting up the diagnostic lies and finding the beautiful person inside. I miss it with every fiber of my being but with that type of work comes paperwork and stress. Stress can make you very sick and sometimes it just needs to come to a stop. So I stopped it. ..but my art still speaks of each one of those kids, their amazing strengths and grit...to all of the "impossible children".

My art comes from a very primitive non verbal place. Like a small child who awakens to the amazement of the colors and sounds of the forest, my intention is to bring back to you that joy and awareness.

At the end here I want to get all unprofessional and say "hi and I love you!" to my Aunt Margaret who might be reading this. To my cousin Terry...big big hugs to another artist who loves kids.
