IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE!
TheSignPatch a commencé à germer à partir d’un panneau « C’EST UNE VIE MERVEILLEUSE » que mon amie avait sur le mur de sa maison. J’aimais vraiment son enseigne et j’aimais l’artisanat depuis aussi longtemps que je me souvienne, alors j’ai décidé d’essayer de faire une enseigne comme ça pour ma propre maison.
C’était il y a plus de trois ans... et me voilà encore en train de faire des signes ! Cela a été tout un voyage depuis ce jour où j’ai acheté un morceau de bois prédécoupé pour faire ma première enseigne.
Je n’aurais pas pu démarrer ce magasin sans l’aide de mon mari qui parcourt des piles de bois pour trouver les meilleures pièces au magasin de bois et qui fait aussi toute la coupe de bois pour moi. Je dois aussi donner du crédit à mes trois grands enfants et à d’autres merveilleux membres de la famille qui sont l’inspiration pour beaucoup des signes que je fais. Et puis il y a notre collie. Il me tient compagnie pendant la journée quand je suis à la maison et que je travaille sur mes enseignes.
Je n’aurais jamais imaginé que mes panneaux seraient accrochés dans autant de maisons et je suis toujours aussi honoré quand quelqu’un choisit un signe de TheSignPatch.

TheSignPatch began to germinate from an "IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE" sign that my friend had on the wall in her home. I really liked her sign and I had loved crafts for as long as I can remember, so I decided I'd try and make a sign like that for my own home.
That was over three years ago ... and here I am still making signs! It's been quite a journey since that day when I bought a piece of pre-cut wood to make my first sign.
I couldn't have started this shop without the help of my husband who goes through stacks of wood to find the best pieces at the lumber store and who also does all of the woodcutting for me. I also have to give credit to my three great children and some other wonderful family members who are the inspiration for many of the signs I make. And then there's our collie. He keeps me company during the day when I'm home and working on my signs.
I never imagined that my signs would be hanging in so many homes and I am always so honored when someone chooses a sign from TheSignPatch.
