Quarantine Pass-Time Turned Full-Time...

This all came about during the beginning of the pandemic. In March of 2020 I was furloughed from my part-time job and wanted something to do to pass the time. It seemed like my mom and I were at the craft store everyday. The embroidery machines always caught my eye, being able to create beautiful artwork with stitches. I did some research and found that the machine that was in my budget was only in stock at a store an hour away, so I hopped in the car to pick it up. I started stitching something I knew everyone needed, masks. I would embroider the design and my mom would sew the pieces together into a mask. I soon realized there was a big demand for personalized items, things with people’s names, initials, even just a design they liked, embroidered onto a garment. I started embroidering anything and everything. My business eventually grew enough to need a second machine, this one being a multi-needle allowing me to embroider an even greater range of products like hats, beanies, stockings, baby clothes, you name it.
