I'm addicted to Vintage. Anything and Everything. I'm always hunting for Treasures!
Hello, my name is Linda and I have been collecting since I was a kid. I remember collecting shells and rocks when I was really young and when I was a teenager I discovered flea markets and antique shows. Since that time my obsession has only grown. Lucky for me I love what I do and I don’t think a day goes by that I’m not hunting for treasures. Now I still collect but I also enjoy selling on Etsy. I love it so much that it does not seem like work to me. I am starting to downsize so a lot of the items I sell now are from my personal collection. They say you can't take it with you when you go so I figure if I start now maybe I will find new homes for my cherished items before that time comes.
I also usually have several projects going at once. Painting furniture, making a purse from vintage fabric I found at an estate sale or making a mosaic out of a beautiful old dish that was chipped but will now have a new life as part of a stepping stone or table top. I love to rescue vintage items and find them new homes where they will be cherished. I love to think of the life an item had before I found it. I find wonderful items at estate sales and flea markets and know that each piece is special and someone treasured it in another life. Instead of ending up in a landfill or being lost or tossed away, I find new homes where each item can be treasured again by someone who also appreciates vintage items.
The items in my store are a combination of my art projects made from recycled pieces, the items I make from vintage fabric such as pillows, totes or whatever inspires me and my flea market and estate sale finds. You will also find new but old stock items that have been packed away for years from when we did Old Time Flea Markets and shows in California such as the Rose Bowl and the Ventura Seaside Market. These items are still older at this point since they have been packed away for years and they all have a vintage or shabby style.
I now live in Albuquerque, New Mexico and although I love everything beach themed from my Southern California past I also love all Wild West items and try to blend these items in my Etsy Store. Please visit my Store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/treasurestudio
I hope you will find a new treasure you can’t live without and adopt it to add to your own collection.
Happy Treasure Hunting!
