GREG HERMAN
Greg Herman a lancé sa carrière dans la mode en 1998 à New York avec sa ligne de sacs à main signature. En deux ans, la marque était disponible dans plus de 3500 sites dans le monde. Il conçoit des collections exclusives pour Barney’s, Henri Bendel, House of Fraser et Isetan.
En 2019, Greg a annoncé le lancement de Bands of Misfits. Une collaboration de marque qui unit des créateurs de mode émergents et établis du monde entier pour incuber, co-créer et organiser des collections uniques.
TOMOKI TAKACHO
Né en 1976, Tomoki est un designer autodidacte spécialisé dans la métallurgie et la conception d’accessoires. Sa maîtrise du métal, en particulier de l’argent et des cuivres, a bouleversé la scène tokyoïte. Il s’agit d’un design chic qui repousse les limites. L’audace de ses pièces mariées à une esthétique délicate invoque un lien personnel unique avec tout ce qu’il crée.
Chaque pièce est fabriquée à la main - il n’y a donc pas deux articles identiques. Au lieu d’essayer de contrôler le métal, Tomoki, sans l’utilisation initiale d’un modèle en cire, lui permet de prendre sa propre forme au fur et à mesure qu’il moule et travaille avec lui. C’est vraiment une relation méthodique, philosophique et sainte qu’il forge en élaborant ses créations.
Tomoki est un pionnier, un designer cool-bad-ass qui fait ce qu’il veut faire et le fait bien! Il est punk, bien éduqué, ne prend pas la merde, et est globalement un ami cool qui change le jeu du design! Un inadapté que nous aimons!

Fast forward to 2019, Greg announced the launch of Bands of Misfits. A brand-collaborative that unites emerging and established fashion designers around the world to incubate, co-create, and curate unique collections.
TOMOKI TAKACHO
Born in 1976, Tomoki is a self-taught designer who specializes in metalwork and accessory design. His mastery with metal, specifically silver and brass has shaken up the Tokyo scene. He’s all about forward chic design that pushes the envelope. The boldness of his pieces married with a delicate aesthetic invokes a unique personal connection to all that he creates.
Each piece is crafted by hand- therefore no two items are exactly alike. Instead of trying to control the metal, Tomoki, without the initial use of a wax model, allows it to take on its own form as he molds and works with it. It’s really is a methodical, philosophical, and holy relationship he forges as he crafts his designs.
Tomoki is a trailblazer, a cool-bad-ass designer that does what he wants to do and does it well! He’s punk, well-schooled, doesn’t take sh*t, and is overall a cool friend that is changing the game of design! A misfit that we love!
