Soul Harbor Jewelry is HANDMADE by Joni Rae Doyle using reclaimed/recycled materials. All of my jewelry is designed and created by hand with metal clay. The pieces are kiln fired using different techniques resulting in sintered, solid metal of copper, bronze, fine silver (.999), and sterling silver (.960). I add color and dimension to my work using patinas and glass enamels.
Trees are my kindred spirits and will always be a focal point in my artwork along with ancient Celtic and Nordic symbols. I believe I've been chosen to honor our sacred Earth through my jewelry artwork. Ancestral spirit guides have set the stepping stones along my path and I continue to listen with heart and soul and let the energy flow through my hands.
"PMC, metal clay products (precious metal clay) are manufactured from ethically-mined materials, as well as recycled and reclaimed metals derived from scrap jewelry, cell phones, computers, monitors and industrial waste."
My skeleton key necklaces are created with vintage, antique metal keys. I choose beads, chain and other components that complement the aged aesthetic and energy of each key.
Most items are ready to ship unless otherwise noted in the listing. All orders will arrive to you in a recycled kraft gift box, wrapped with my shop logo and ready for gift giving.

5 out of 5 starsI had mistakenly put the incorrect shipping address. The seller was lighting fast in responding to my shipping correction. As an artist and an environmental student, this piece is simply gorgeous.

5 out of 5 starsThere is a reason why Joni is our favorite jewelry artist. It is like there is an undeniable psychic connection between us that runs deep in our Celtic roots. Her work speaks to me akin to the voices of our ancestors. I've looked at countless St. Brigid's cross pendants in the past few weeks when I thought that I'd like to wear one, but only one sang her song to me -- Joni's. I should have known. It has always been that way with her pieces, which is why I have a number of them, and I treasure them all. Lory

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions
Fine and sterling silver jewelry should be polished with a soft jewelry polishing cloth, do not use harsh liquid chemicals as it will remove the patina on the metal. Jewelry should not be subjected to water for long periods of time, this will eventually change the color of the metal.
Care instructions
Copper and bronze jewelry are sealed with a lacquer to protect the metal and to provide a barrier between the metal and your skin. Jewelry should not be subjected to water for long periods of time, please do not swim or shower while wearing jewelry, this will break down the sealant and the color of the metal will change. Copper and bronze may have a chemical reaction with your skin leaving a green color. This is by no means dangerous to you in any way and it doesn't happen to everyone, it's just what these metals do when moisture is present.
Care instructions
Copper and bronze jewelry that have had patina colors added are extremely vulnerable to exposure to water and other liquids. I treat each piece of jewelry with layers of sealant to protect the coloration. these pieces should never be immersed in water, please do not swim or shower while wearing a piece of jewelry that has patina color.
The sealant may start to break down naturally over time, if you wish to reseal it, I would recommend suing Permalac spray sealant.
Sizing details
Please be aware that I create each piece of jewelry by hand, one at a time, and each piece is creatively unique. I sometimes use measurements that are approximate, I am not trying to misrepresent my work in any way by doing this. I measure each piece of jewelry and include these dimensions in several places in the listing. If a pendant is a tiny fraction of an inch short, I will say..."just under one inch" in the description. If you need a visual to scale for any piece of jewelry, just ask and I'll send more photos.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Each piece of jewelry will arrive to you in a recycled kraft gift box, adorned with ribbon and ready for gift giving!
