i put this in site help because it is a site question about why certain threads get moved.

For me...The support and meeting everyone sure compensates for slow sales. alot of my pottery biz is wholesale, they walk in the door, walk out again and sometimes pay the invoices on time, this is so different.

Those are the moves that I like the least, I don't mind saying. Because threads like that are always certainly well-intentioned, but they touch on the social side of business here, less of what makes Etsy a marketplace and more of what makes Etsy a community.
I'm always happy to see threads about positive thinking, gratitude for other members of the community, various good happenings, shoot, for Etsy itself and the things that we do. But all of these really do belong in Etc.

I'm thankful for many, many things, and being able to do what I enjoy it one of them!

Honestly, Business category is overflowing with encouragement and uplift threads. In my opinion, this isn't business talk, and therefore I am rather glad admin now seem to move these threads to Etc.
I am not saying these threads don't have a place here, they do, because it's part of this community. But not in Business.

IF you are going to post, knowing that it will be moved, why not just post where it should be?

Me too!
I've been here 6 months, have started to make a profit, have some great new friends, and the creative "me" is blossoming, just when I need it. The stimulus of seeing so much wonderful and varied "stuff" is fabulous.
