MINIATURES IN DOLLHOUSE SCALES - June is busting out with Minis

Hello,
June means mid-summer in the Northern hemisphere with summery days and short nights. Although we are all turning our thoughts to our gardens and going out and about we still find time for our miniatures when we are as devoted as the members of MIDS.
We are a Team specifically for makers and collectors of accurate to scale dollhouse miniatures for adult collectors.
Not all dollhouses and miniatures are made to scale for adult collectors. Some dollhouses and their contents are intended for children to play with and are more strongly made for play purposes.
There are many types of miniatures but the ones this group is interested in are in the internationally accepted dollhouse scales of 1/12th (one inch = one foot) - 1/16th (three-quarters of an inch = one foot) - 1/24th also sometimes called half-scale (half an inch = one foot) - 1/48th sometimes called quarter-scale (quarter of an inch = one foot) and the incredibly tiny 1/144th scale also known as micro minis (one twelfth of an inch = one foot).

Good morning BlueKitty!
Rained here recently, I didn't realize that was the reason for it being chilly until I let the cats out at sunrise. Everything is fresh and green out there today, hope it warms up enough to mess around in the garden a little.
Beyond that, will be doing a fire this morning too. So should get myself off the computer and get it going.

Good morning team!
I hope everyone has a great Monday!
It rained here early this morning, but has cleared off nicely. Time to go weed a little in the garden.
I finally got the wood I ordered to finish my newest project. I plan on hitting my workshop very soon, but have to go to the store for a few things.
Dale was right, creating that blog is frustrating when you have to do it backwards. I need to read up on it some more, but I'll get it figured out eventually. I haven't spent as much time on it as I'd like yet, because I have been waiting for the lumber to arrive.
Anyway, let's all have a terrific June! May the PPF visit us all in due time, as we bust out our mini's when we can.
