A new month, a new fresh start. Out with the old stale news. Time for a Lame Duck Version, as we celebrate the ending of a very tough political year.

What I don't understand is why can't they compromise on the Bush tax cuts and say families earning over half million and the same with the unemployment benefits. Keep the funds coming for people out of work a year or less. Something?

On the tax breaks, that is exactly what Obama is proposing and what the republicans have vowed to stop. Not only that but to stop all progress on anything until the rich get a permanent gift.

i've been looking for an electric heating pad for my old cat - but i can't seem to find one....do they even make them anymore?
