Welcome to the official thread for the The Daily Sweets, formally known as the Bittersweeets’s One a Day Challenge. We're an unofficial team so we're pretty relaxed. Our group formed when we accepted Chrissy of Bittersweeets.etsy.com 's challenge to create an item a day beginning April 15th 2008 to May 15th 2008 -- the goal was to improve activity in shops.
OBJECTIVE: TO LIST AN ITEM A DAY
We all had improved sales and activity. We had a few newbies to Etsy, and we made our first sales. At the end of the challenge, we've got attached to each other so we kept on hanging out together here each week. While we may not always list an item a day, the goal is to create every day.
Bottom line, we're supportive and not a strict bunch. If you can't list an item a day because life gets in the way, that's okay. We value quality products and excellent customer service. If you share these views, then jump right in and we'll help you along.

i'm such a lazy duck this morning. i'm lounging on the sofa watching heather move the telly into the living room. if it counts, i did sweep and mop the living room before becoming a couch potato. lol. we will be going out to our favorite thrift store in a bit. third time in 24 hours. there was a table there that i wanted, and they are beginning to realize antiques. its priced quite high, and heather wouldn't let me get it yesterday...but she see's the vision now, and thinks we have to have it. dork!
we did find some fabulous drapes there for $3.00. we have a huge opening from living room to work studio, so we put up a rod and drapes to separate the two spaces. rar for that. because as i was being lazy, i could look in and be reminded that i really did need to be working. lol.
we are training the dogs that they can't get on the new stuff....so they have their own chair...in a sunspot in the picture window. training has gone particularly well. knock on wood.
rar.
off to be lazy again!

I don't think the waves will be hitting here..also I just don't know if it's the best idea to have creedin out in the rain you know??
baking sounds like it might be fun...maybe we can play games all day...
we do have to go do some banking so I'll see while we are out if something comes to mind

Just reading about the earthquake:
The largest earthquake ever recorded struck the same area of Chile on May 22, 1960. The magnitude-9.5 quake killed 1,655 people and left 2 million homeless. The tsunami that it caused killed people in Hawaii, Japan and the Philippines and caused damage to the west coast of the United States.
Saturday's quake matched a 1906 temblor off the Ecuadorean coast as the seventh-strongest ever recorded in the world.

oye is right Elle...or like Courtney telling us that she was recommended by the school to take a few days to get her mind together and come back on monday ready to concentrate....she just left out the part where she told her principal to eff off? but the actual swears...jeez manipilative teenagers hey!

I'll be staying in the car, not as brave as I used to be. Before kids. When I was a teen we'd go out to Morro Rock in Morro Bay during storms and climb and we literally risked our lives out there...stupid kids we were!
My kids are playing well together for now.
