I am getting into soldering sterling silver to make jewelry and wanting to now drill holes into my hammered sterling silver circles. Any suggestions?

Here's a chart that should help you choose the correct
drill bit size, saw blade size, etc. Don't forget to use a small bit of Bur Lube or lubricant on the bit or saw blade when drilling to prevent breaking and make it easier to drill or saw.

& make sure you get a bit for metal & not wood.

Oh, & if you take a punch & make a divot in the metal first, it will be easier to drill without having your drill skitter all over the silver.
Silver is pretty easy to drill. It's soft.

I buy my twist drill bits from Monsterslayer. They have a chart for wire size, too. I use them in my regular electric drill.
