How can you resize your pictures for Etsy??

I have heard of web resizer and used it for some of my pics also i have used a program I have on my computer.But I read is better to put 500 x500 pixels pictures so the pictures are more clear.What do you use to resize your pics??

I use photoscape. it's a bit clunky, but it's free, and at least i don't have to upload all my photos to the web to resize them, like i would if i used Picnik. i do mine larger than 500 x 500 though; usually my shorter size is like 1000 or more, and it uploads just fine.

The image space in the new wider listings is 570 pixels wide, so you may want to make them at least that size. Otherwise, there will be extra gray space around the image, like this...

Try using photoshop or paint if you have windows. Google also has Gimp and it's free, I believe.

I use Corel Paintshop Pro X2. I use this software to do all of my photo maintenance as well as sizing. Etsy can handle photos sized up to 3328 pixels by 3328 pixels. I generally size mine to the maximum of 3300 pizels so customers can click on the pic and get an enlarged view of the item. I hope this is of help to you.

I also have Corel Paintshop Pro, which I use for most of my editing, but I've found it easiest to use the Microsoft Picture Manager software that came with our computer for cropping and resizing.
