Turkish Rug profession is an endless love for me!

Hello to Everyone in the world!
My name is Gizem, I am the middle child of a family with 3 children.
Do you know that I was born and raised with Turkish rugs?
Weaving rugs was a tradition of young girls living in Anatolia. One of these young girls was my grandmother. My grandmother weaved rugs, my grandfather sold these rugs.
My father continued the rug business from my grandfather. I am the third generation. My father has been selling carpets for 40 years, my greatest supporter in choosing this profession is my father. I love father so much.
When I was born I would be very happy to go to my father's shop. There were always rugs on the walls. it was like a painting for me.
Each rug expresses a different feeling, different colors, different motifs all express a sense.
Of course, I was not expected to be involved in any other work as someone who grew up in the rugs.but,I have to say that This is not only my business.This is my lifestyle,the way of my life.
I studied economics at the university, but it was exactly what I wanted to combine with the economy. Vintage rugs have always special value in my heart. I find them from small villages.
As a young girl who was born and raised in Central Anatolia, I started to sell these unique pieces in a valuable medium like etsy. I extend my eternal gratitude to the etsy executives.

I sell Turkish and vintage rugs in my Etsy shop, all my rugs are handmade.
