This Privacy Policy describes how and when we, PaperShape UG (haftungsbeschränkt) & Co. KG collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from us, contact us, or otherwise use our services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy or any third party services (e.g., PayPal) you access through Etsy.

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

To fulfill your order, you must provide us with certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to us), such as your

• Name
• Email address
• Postal address
• Payment information and
• the details of the product that you’re ordering.

You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information if you contact us directly – for example for sending us feedback, photos of your assembled paper objects, questions about the assembling process.


2. WHY WE NEED YOUR INFORMATION AND HOW WE USE IT

We rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

• as needed to provide our services, such as when we use your information to fulfil your order, to settle disputes, or to provide customer support;
• if necessary, to comply with a legal obligation or court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law.

We use your information as necessary to comply with our obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.


3. INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

Information about our customers is important to our business. We share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

We share information with ETSY as necessary to provide you our services and comply with our obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.

To process your order we work with the following SERVICE PARTNERS who assist us in the execution of the contracts.

We ship our goods with external shipping partners (DHL, Deutsche Post) to fulfill our contractual obligations. We only give your name and delivery address for the purpose of the delivery of the ordered goods to the shipping partners.

We use an external merchandise management system for contract handling. For this we transfer your collected personal data to Billbee GmbH, Paulinenstrasse 54, 32756 Detmold, Germany.

We may collect, use, retain, and share your information if we have a good faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to:

• respond to legal process or to government requests
• enforce our agreements, terms and policies
• prevent, investigate, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or
• protect the rights, property, and safety of our customers, or others.


4. STORING DATA

We store your personal data as long as necessary to fulfill contractual obligations. Legal provisions, e.g. for keeping bills, may require longer storage periods. Non-personal identifiable data in aggregate reports may be stored for up to five years.


5. YOUR RIGHTS

• You have the right to request information about data that is stored about you at any time (Art. 15 GDPR).
• You have the right to correct incorrect data or complete incorrect stored data about you (Art. 16 GDPR).
• You have the right to demand the immediate erasure of personal data (Art. 17 GDPR).
• You have the right of data portability (20 GDPR).
• You also have the right to complain to a regulatory agency about the processing of data (Art. 77 GDPR).
• You have the right to revoke a previously granted consent to the data processing at any time (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
