About

Our love for hand made items, including quilts new and old.

My love of sewing and quilting started when I was a little girl. My Great Grandmother, Grandmother and Mother all liked to sew. I made my first doll when I was 8 or 9 years old.

I would make my own clothes once I became a teenager because I just hated the clothes my mother made for me. lol, (doesn't any teenager) Once I married, I would make my kids clothes and my husbands shirts. Later, I made clowns and other stuffed animals and sold them to my friends. Primary colors, all primary colors, I love them!

A few years ago, I bought an embroidery machine because I wanted to machine embroider as well. This lead me to quilting and embroidering by machine. I quilt whenever I can, from piecing (my favorite) to long arm quilting with my Gammill long arm quilting machine.

My little elf, Jeff and I have had our Gammill computerized long arm quilting machine since February 2014 and love working on it, quilting for us and for others. We take pride in our expertise and choice of designs. We treat them like our own while they are in our care.

We also quilt for Quilts of Valor Foundation when we can fit it in and for our local quilt guild, Hearts and Hands. Quilting for others is very rewarding.

We offer fabric cases for each quilt made to order from like fabrics in my stash for $20.00, or from your left over fabrics for $10.00. Something to keep their very valuable quilts in to keep them safe. No plastic, no WalMart bags.

Let us help you with that perfect item today!
