STUDIO CLD began in 1985. The intention was to sell only my son Carl's (deceased since 1996) Fine Jewelry Designs. But Carl was also a collector of scarce, beautiful and often whimsical Antique and Vintage things which led to occasionally Listing these and some items from my Parents' Estate. I am "elderly" now and offer them to those of you who also care to have that special piece of times past on your dinner or coffee table. One Special piece brings so much pleasure.
Carl was also a recognized Collector and Dealer of Native American Metalwork AND American, Mexican and Scandinavian Studio Jewelry, Mostly Mid Century Modern in Sterling Silver. Many are scarce pieces...I am starting to list them. Please Request name/s of specific favorite MCM jewelry Designer...I have more UNlisted than listed! I also have about ten unusual pieces in Karat Gold.
Gem Cabochons offered are from Carl's collection of stones dating to the 1980s...His jewelry designs and gemstones are all Authenticated Natural, including Diamonds in the Solitaire Rings. Carl was a GIA-GG - NYC circa 1982. Our Logo has been Registered and maintained since 1985.
