Okay, today I tried something I thought would be really good. It was a recipe calling for sliced tomatos sprinkled with olive oil and sea salt and surrounding some goat cheese. You eat this with crusty bread. Doesn't that sound yummy ? Well I've never had goat cheese and never will again ! YUCK ! It even had herbs on it but did nothing to cover that taste. It reminded me very much of eating rare venison, extremely gamey. Even my husband who's a hunter and has eaten lots of stuff that would never cross my lips found it to be rather blech ( but could tolerate it with the tomato ). Even now my face contorts into revulsion but thank goodness we're also having sweet corn.

vegemite. I think that stuff sucks. I like goat cheese, though. Maybe you need to try a different kind, without herbs.??

most of the weird non-americanized chinese food my husband's parents make me eat. sometimes I fantasize about what my life would be like if I'd married into a normal, white family.
