Welcome to the revised series of threads called SHOP OWNER SPOTLIGHT. Each day a different Shop Owner will be featured. At the end of the day, the featured shop owner will pass the torch to the next shop owner listed by starting a new thread for them and contacting them, (as well as Blackfireink,) with the thread link. These threads run Monday thru Friday, only.

Let's see...my favorite fabric? *snort* I guess everyone knows the answer to that.
I've been sewing since I was 11 when I made an A-line dress from a paisley fabric. I can still see it quite clearly! Sleeveless, zipper up the back...and yes, I'd say it's a generational thing. Mom and Grandma both sewed a lot.
Hand-stitching is my specialty these days. I've been stitching things by hand for the last dozen years or so. Something about it is very calming for me - kind of a zen thing.
Let's see...my favorite movie. There's so many, it's hard to choose...I just watched Dirty Dancing for the bazillionth time. That one always sucks me right in, ya know?

Never an embarrassing one, but plenty of frustrating ones! And I have a nasty habit of throwing aside a project that isn't going right...and never going back to it!

Ocean! But to be fair, I've never been ON a mountain...I've flown over a few!
I loved Grand Cayman and St. John in the British Virgin Islands. The tide pools in La Jolla are fascinating...and one of my favorite places to go is Sarasota area keys in Florida. I've been other places too, but those are my favorite 'ocean' places.

I dunna, I just remember being asked that during pre-law fraternity initiations =)

One piece of advice...dang. You would ask a hard one. OK, let's go with photography. Unlike you, you fabulous photographer you, most people have a tough time with photographs. So my advice would be, put on your Patience Pants, read the dang owners manual, read forum posts about the subject, figure out what lighting works best for YOU, and keep working on it. Eventually most of it will come together.
Oh yeah, and don't throw your camera across the room in frustration. Unless, of course, you want an excuse to invest in a newer and better camera...

Interesting shop, Kombuchick! Your photos are fantastic.
OK...I guess freeze to death. It seems like a less painful, more peaceful way to go. I think you get really really cold, and then fall asleep and die when your major organs start to freeze and shut down. Remember how Leo died in Titanic? When he turned blue and just slipped beneath the water? Better than the screaming and the panic and the pain of fire I would think!
