LGBTQ+ Pride Martingale Collar

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
This Pride inspired martingale collar can be made in any of our widths 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 1", and 1.5" HD biothane. It comes with a stainless steel chain martingale. The 3/8" and 1/2" chain martingale has a 3" range, for example a 12" neck size can tighten down to 9" when the martingale is pulled on. The 5/8" chain martingale has a 3.5" range, for example a 17" neck size can tighten down to 13.5" when the martingale is pulled on. The 1" chain martingale has a 4" range, for example a 20" neck can tighten down to 16" when the martingale is pulled on. The 1.5" chain martingale has a 6" range, for example a 26" neck can tighten down to 20" when the martingale is pulled on.

The colors used in this collar are Red, Bright Orange, Bright Yellow, Bright Grass Green, Royal Blue and Purple. This collar can be customized with different colors entirely, to match you and your pets style! If you do want custom colors or a different order of colors please include that in the note to seller section or message us through Etsy. This is a slip on collar and does require you to measure you pups head and neck to ensure the best fit, please see the measuring guide section below for helpful tips.


MEASURING GUIDE:
Using a fabric ruler is easiest but if that is not something you have available you can use some string or yarn to get the size, mark where the string/yarn connects with a permanent marker or cut it. Then measure it against a flat ruler or retractable tape measure. When measuring your pups neck, you don't want to add any extra space under the measuring tape as this will cause the collar to be too big for your pup. The tape or string/yarn should lay flat against your pups neck but should not be too tight where it causes it to press into the skin.

Since this collar is a slip on design, you will also want to measure the widest part of your pups head to ensure the collar will slip over comfortably. If your pups head measurement and neck measurement have more than 2" difference, where the head is larger than the neck, then I would recommend asking about adding a quick release or belt buckle for a better fit.

COLOR OPTIONS:
There are so many amazing colors to choose from to match you and your pet’s style! For any collar, leash, harness, or accessory design that has multiple sections or straps you can choose as many colors as you would like to customize your look! To do this you can select the primary color for your order and then you can message your custom color selections separately or include a message in the “note to seller” section at checkout. Please mention which straps or parts you would like in each color.


PLEASE NOTE:
Colors may differ slightly in person than seen on a computer screen. If you would like help trying to color match any existing biothane items you may have, we are happy to provide additional pictures of colors to help you. If you have Biothane brand items we can usually help you find an exact match but for off brand webbing we can help you match as close as possible.


BIOTHANE:
Biothane is a waterproof leather alternative. It is easily washed after a day of hiking, swimming or playing. Unlike nylon webbing, biothane does not absorb water or smell and can be dried in seconds with a towel.

All biothane used at Not So Standard Creations is the Beta 520 Biothane either the standard or super heavy weight. Listings with HD indicate that the super heavy weight biothane is used for that design, all other listings are made with the standard weight biothane.

BETA 520 STANDARD BIOTHANE:
Thickness is approximately 0.1” or 1/8”. Breaking strength is approximately 200lbs for the 3/8” width, 500lbs for the 1/2” width, 700lbs for the 5/8” width, and 1000lbs for the 1” width.

BETA 520 SUPER HEAVY BIOTHANE/HEAVY DUTY (HD):
Thickness is approximately 0.15” or 3/16”. Breaking strength is approximately 1500lbs for the 1.5” HD width.

* It is not recommended to leave biothane products where pets can reach them when not in use. Although biothane is very strong when pulled on, unfortunately it is not chew proof and is a very tempting chew toy for some pets!

Please see our listings for add on text or add on reflective tape services. We make biothane ID tags to attach separately. We can also add text or reflective tape directly on to your collar, leash, harness, or other biothane accessories. Our reflective tape can be done in stripes and shapes; including paw prints, hearts, stars and other shapes just ask!


SHOP POLICY:
Any item damaged by mishandling or chewed on by pet will not be eligible for a return/exchange, even if it is within the 30 day return/exchange window. Any product or design defect is always eligible within 30 days of delivery.
